  2. Thank you for registering CONLOG!

  4. The file CNLOG200.EXE is a self-extracting archive set of files
  5. which you should share with others for evaluation, or upload to your favorite
  6. bulletin board.  Please pass this file around rather than your
  7. registered version.  Thank you.

  9. Self-extracting archive files are just as their name implies.  By simply
  10. executing CNLOG200.EXE, the file will unpack itself into the individual
  11. files.  If desired, the original CNLOG200.EXE file may then be erased
  12. from your disk, as its job is done.  Of course, as a registered user,
  13. you have no need to extract these files, as your registered copies
  14. are present on this disk already.

  16. The file CONLOG.IBM is a version of the documentation which is
  17. intended for printing on IBM/Epson compatible printers, since
  18. it contains the control codes to alter printing fonts, etc.
  19. It makes a prettier manual if your printer can handle it.
  20. If not, use CONLOG.DOC.  The text is the same.

  29. If you have a printer which prints the IBM box characters and
  30. recognizes standard IBM/Epson control codes for double width,
  31. boldface, etc., DO THIS:
  32.      COPY CONLOG.IBM PRN:

  34.       PRINT CONLOG.IBM
  35. (Note: Some distributions from bulletin boards may not have this
  36.        file due to space limitations.  Instead, use the file
  37.        CONLOG.DOC.  A purchased distribution disk will have
  38.        both files.)

  41. If you have a printer which DOES NOT print the IBM box characters or
  42. DOES NOT recognizes standard IBM/Epson control codes for double width,
  43. boldface, etc., DO THIS:

  49. !!!!!! BE SURE TO RUN THE INSTCLOG (INSTALLATION) PROGRAM BEFORE
  50.        ANY OTHER PROGRAMS.  INSTCLOG IS REQUIRED TO SETUP THE
  51.        CONFIGURATION FILE WITH YOUR SPECIFIC INFORMATION !!!!!!!!!!
  52. Configuration files for versions earlier than 1.80 will NOT work with version
  53. 2.00.  However, do NOT erase your old CONLOG.PRM file, since INSTCLOG
  54. is smart enough to retrieve all old information and make a new file.
  55. If you have already established a configuration fiel for version 1.80
  56. it will be used for version 2.00.  There is no need to re-configure.

  63. ASCII TEXT FILES AND CANNOT, REPEAT CANNOT, BE EDITED WITH A TEXT
  64. EDITOR OR WORD PROCESSOR.  DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT, ATTEMPT TO ACCESS
  65. THESE FILES EXCEPT THROUGH THE CONLOG PROGRAM SYSTEM!
  66. (The BACKUP.LOG file is still ASCII format.)
  67. Refer to the full manual for details on editing and deleting log
  68. entries.

  71.      INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY!!  Most questions can be answered
  72.      by simply reading the instructions!  Thank you!
